Athletic Directors: Transform Your Gameday Experience with the Luxedo Court Mapping System

Luxedo Makes Projection Easy

Founded in 2019, Luxedo is the industry leader in home and professional projection mapping installations. Since then, Luxedo's state-of-the-art Projection Mapping Technology has become a mainstay at countless arenas across the United States. The first gyms to use Luxedo's court solutions were close to their home base in Knoxville, Tennessee, but it didn't take long for the country at large to begin taking notice.

Jay Holladay, the Athletic Director at Wilson Central High School in Lebanon, Tennessee, was a pioneer in many regards. He saw the potential in projection mapping for his court, and before long Luxedo was able to turn his vision into a reality. The high-quality shows playing at every game caught a lot of attention. Here was this High School that had a pre-game show to rival NCAA and NBA teams. In fact- it even caught the attention of ESPN in a viral TikTok. Speaking to a news team about his new system, he had this to say:

“The starting lineup light show at Wilson Central High School is something you'd fully expect to see at a professional sports venue, bringing national attention and setting a new standard for high school fan experiences.” — Jay Holladay, Sports Information Director at Wilson Central High School

Bringing the Team Spirit

From high schools to major arenas, Luxedo’s projection technology is revolutionizing the way fans engage with the game. The innovative pre-game visuals and interactive displays are setting a new standard for sports entertainment. Nowhere is this more obvious than Lakota West in Ohio.

At Lakota West, as with many installations, the students reap the benefits of a Luxedo system. As is often the case with these projects, the students have seized the opportunity to get directly involved, helping with the show-creation process and planning. Beyond that, the Firebirds bring the team spirit whenever the lights get low and the show begins, cheering as their starters roll out during their projection mapping show.

State Tournaments

Springdale High School in Arkansas was building a new, state-of-the-art gymnasium for their school with the expecation that they would be using it host their state's championship. Looking for a way to elevate their game, they were introduced to Luxedo's projection mapping solutions. After getting in contact with Luxedo's team, a plan was drawn up to set their court up with 4 10,000 ANSI lumen projectors.

With an incomparably low turnaround time, Luxedo's installation team came down to Arkansa to complete the project, and with less than one day of installation time, Springdale was ready to host. Luxedo gave Springdale the resources and contacts needed not only to set up a high-end projection mapping system, but also to create the kinds of high-quality light shows you'd only ever expect among the professional leagues. With Luxedo's team handling all of the technical details, Springdale was able to focus on the main event, performing for their state championship.
