Transforming Gameday with the Luxedo Court Mapping System

Transforming Gameday with the Luxedo Court Mapping System

Luxedo Completely Transforms Any Arena

Founded in 2019, Luxedo is the industry leader in home and professional projection mapping installations. At that time, no high school gyms in the country had access to projection mapping, with the technology being reserved for only the highest-end sports arenas in the world. Since then, Luxedo's state-of-the-art product has become a mainstay at countless high school arenas across the United States.

With incomparable pricing and ease of use, Luxedo spread rapidly from their home base in Knoxville to gyms across the world. One of the first to see the potential in this field was the Athletic Director for Wilson Central High, Jay Holladay. Realizing the unprecedented opportunity of this turnkey solution, he worked together with Luxedo's team to get a NBA-caliber lightshow made, and it paid off, with national attention from sources like ESPN. Speaking to a news team about his new system, he had this to say:

“The starting lineup light show at Wilson Central High School is something you'd fully expect to see at a professional sports venue, bringing national attention and setting a new standard for high school fan experiences.” — Jay Holladay, Sports Information Director at Wilson Central High School

Bringing the Team Spirit

From high schools to major arenas, Luxedo’s projection technology is revolutionizing the way fans engage with the game. The innovative pre-game visuals and interactive displays are setting a new standard for sports entertainment.

At Lakota West (OH), as with many installations, the students are reaping the benefits of a Luxedo system. As is often the case with these projects, the students have seized the opportunity to get directly involved, helping with the show-creation process and planning. Beyond that, the Lakota West Firebirds bring the team spirit whenever the lights get low and the show begins, cheering as their starters roll out during their projection mapping show.

State Tournaments

Over the past few years, Luxedo has raised the bar for what High School courts can achieve. In 2025, they raised the bar again when they partnered with Springdale High School in Arkansas. There, they set up the highest-lumen projection mapping system ever installed at a high school arena, with 4 Luxedo PRO1000 10,000 lumen projection systems mapped to their court. After a one-day installation, the entire system was set-up and ready to go in preparation for the Arkansas State Championships, where Springdale unveiled their new system.

With an unmatched turnaround time, Luxedo's installation team traveled to Arkansas to complete the project. They provided Springdale with the resources and contacts needed to not only set up a high-end projection mapping system but also create professional-grade light shows you would only ever expect to see in professional leagues. With Luxedo's team handling all of the technical details, Springdale was able to focus on the main event, performing for their state championship.
